Nitka Technologies develops software for customers in the US and Europe and brings together about 300 professionals from Eastern Europe, North and South America, Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

We are looking for an experienced ML Engineer for a long-term project. The customer is an American company.

The project is a mobile app and API service that lets users verify their identity once and reuse it across platforms. It helps confirm age, trustworthiness, or delegation rights without oversharing personal data. Businesses integrate via REST/GraphQL APIs, SDKs, server-side libraries and use it to reduce fraud, block bots, and manage traffic fairly. The project leverages cutting-edge technologies, including AI and Machine Learning.

 
Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in applied ML, proficiency in Real-time ML inference pipelines;
• Hands-on knowledge of Model monitoring, retraining, and feature engineering;
• Familiarity with modern AI models, deep understanding of agentic approach and online bots;
• Hands-on experience deploying ML services and managing environments;
• Knowledge of web server interfaces: ASGI/WSGI, request lifecycle, concurrency (async vs threads);
• Understanding of Data Engineering fundamentals, designing reliable ETL/ELT pipelines;
• Nice to have experience of working  with voice-based technologies (SST);
• Nice to have knowledge of DIDComm/VC interoperability work (Aries, Indy, etc.) and Standards for privacy-preserving claims protocols;
• Will be beneficial: familiarity with OAuth2/OpenID Connect /SAML; FIDO2/WebAuthn/Passkeys; W3C Verifiable Credentials (VC 2.0) & Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) protocols;
• Spoken English (Intermediate level and higher).

• Full-time (8 hours/day)
• Flexible schedule, but presence at the workplace is possible until 22 gmt+3 for collaboration with the US team
